Create scripts and Automated Installation Packages - use
Symantec Ghost to create these automated packages to minimize
downtime and meet CMR SLA's.
Maintain Ghost server configured and updated - configure server
to work across the network and different vlans. Install client
remotely to XP/2000/NT/Vista workstations.
Keep Server updated with latest patches and updates.
Remote administration and troubleshooting of servers and
workstations (Remote Desktop, VNC, Remotely Possible, PC
Anywhere, Dameware, etc.).
Administer Active Directory - Administer and maintain Active
Directory structure, OU's, GPO's and scripts. Add new users,
delete terminated users, devices, printers, etc.
Update server with latest patches and security updates as
necessary. Test and document changes, rollback if necessary.
Restore and configure users PC's - restore users Windows
XP/Vista workstations using Norton Ghost and configure
printers, drive mappings and programs. Microsoft Office XP
,2003 and 2007,Outlook via Exchange, Norton Antivirus,
CentreView, Terminal Server Client, Real Time Adherence and
some internal applications.
Maintain all workstations updated with the latest security
updates and patches using Norton Ghost. Test WSUS updates and
release them to the production environment as needed.
Backup servers daily- perform daily backup of the data and file
servers.
Install and configure software (remote access for notebooks).
Setup and configure PDA's, Blackberries, iPhones, Treos and
other types of devices.
Support local and remote users (Citrix) on day to day
operations.
Setup new notebooks, create images and setup connectivity.
Write installation procedures, update inventory and update
documentation in SharePoint.
Setup and administer Polycom IP Videoconferencing.
Resolve problem tickets and complete service requests received
via Remedy.
