My last assignment was working in the compounding department. I was trained
on the ZSK-40 extruder and I also took on the tasks of improving the
packaging of finished goods and better organizing and care of the elements
for the extruder screws. Prior to this I spent 3 months helping run lab
experiments. This included making up the aqueous solutions, running
coagulation tests and the extraction and drying process. Prior to this I
was working in the Pilot Plant as a technician for 19 months.
My main function was to assist the senior technicians with the extraction
process in the Pilot Plant running of advanced engineering polymers .I am
also trained in the polymerization process including the
accurate weighing up of raw materials.

August 1998- Quality Assurance Technician

Perform setup, in process and final inspections on converted and die cut
materials.
I was responsible for calibrations and the records of measuring
instruments.
I assumed the roll of "go to" person for the shift when there was no
supervisor.
During my first 2 years I was a rotary die operator.
I was certified in Workplace First Aid and CPR and a part of the Safety
Team.
I have also been through ISO 9002, ISO 14001, QS 9000, and ISO/TS 16949-
2002 training.

As a part of the support technician team I would help prepare chemical
solutions for experimental
coatings on film and photographic paper.
We also setup coating machines with proper pumps, chemicals and film or
paper to be coated.
We worked with engineers prior to experiment to order proper supplies for
the test.
The team maintained the supply of lab equipment, chemicals and other
supplies.
