thin film equipment manufacturing environment.

I'm an excellent technical writer with numerous ISO 9001 processes and

procedures implemented.

priority problems and resulting in a 50% reduction in problem

resolution time.

. Team facilitator for cross-functional quality improvement teams to

address problems identified by quality data analyses. Responsible for

identification and resolution of high-priority/high-visibility

problems affecting thin film quality and system reliability.

Implemented changes resulted in a first-year reduction of customer

configuration engineering teams to resolve and manage discrepancies

and material defects. Specific examples are: Identified and

monitored system configuration errors; audited Engineering Change

Orders to ensure the success of problem resolutions; worked with

supplier to resolve configuration error in OEM supplied equipment.

Engineering change management

. Developed engineering change control policies to improve alpha and

beta testing for new products and established a robust system of

reporting these changes to customers. Authored ISO 9001 procedures to

ensure a consistent process, improving time-to-market for new product

introductions by 20%.

. Reduced problem resolution cycle time, improved customer satisfaction

and increasing repeat business.

Manufacturing Engineering

. Designed and implemented procedures with a focus on design-for-

manufacturing for the development of new systems, reducing

manufacturing costs and system down time.

. Developed new shipping procedures that reduced the need to replace

damaged components, decreased installation time, and improved customer

time-to-market.

Final Test Technician

. In 1995 received an "Outstanding Team" award for installing and

qualifying a tungsten chemical vapor deposition system in less than 24

hours as mandated by the customer. This allowed the system to begin

production in record time and improved the customer's profit margin.

. In 1996 I received an "Outstanding Service" award from Novellus for an

emergency flight to Edinburg, Scotland to resolve a difficult "line
