SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

I have worked in various departments within the Office Depot warehouse. Including

order filling, inventory control and receiving. I have experience with all types of

warehouse machinery including pallet jacks, cherry pickers, reach trucks and scissor

lifts. I am also familiar with the use of RF scanners.

Machine Operator

I started in 1993 as an order filler and worked in that area for about two years. I was

responsible for picking customer orders accurately and efficiently. I then transferred to

the printing department where my responsibilities included accurately receiving and

stocking various items on the shelves and organizing the department to run efficiently.

After a few years I transferred to the inventory control department where I kept accurate

counts of product and researched various product issues including missing items and mis-

picked items using the Warehouse Management System. I then transferred to the

receiving department where I was responsible for receiving in product to be sold. Shortly

after taking that position I became a lead for the department. I had limited authority to

delegate the work flow in many areas of this function. Usually having full control when

the supervisor was out.

In December of 2006, I was promoted to supervisor of the Loading/ Bulk Department. I

was in charge of accurately sorting and picking packages and making sure they are

loaded on the proper trucks in a timely manor. I was for the staffing of 17 people. Making

sure that the nights work has enough coverage.

In November of 2008, I sustained an injury which put me out of work for 6 months.

My position was filled upon my return to work and I was subsequently demoted to a

machine operator. Shortly thereafter I decided to move to Arizona and left the company.
