A position in which expertise through experience, creative talents,

leadership, strategic planning and commitment to excellence will have

useful and worthwhile application.

WORK EXPERIENCE

-

June 1997 - November Comcast Cablevision Washington, DC;

Warehouse Inventory

Control Manager

Managed six (6) locations in three (3) counties handling both material

and converter areas with 36 diverse group of employees representing

different nationalities

Reduced material on-hand inventories on all locations from $3 to $1.4

million by transferring excess materials to other systems across the

country.

Consolidated all converters from two major counties to one location for

accuracy in counting which tremendously helped other systems across the

country (since equipment that did not belong to the area were returned

to the originating systems; continuously disposed any unusable inventory

according to the company policy, thus justifying the system approval for

brand new inventory.)

Locations catered to a diverse group of about 300 technicians and 10

companies of business partners (contractors)

Increased inventory accuracy of almost $2 million supply on-hand from

September 27, 2007 to December 3, 2007. The task was monumental with

basically three (3) employees and still running the day-to-day business

not to mention the special requirements of year-end projects. There was

a tremendous improvement that challenged the team for a much higher

result.

Improved accuracy by spring of 2008 to 95% within range of company

requirement by ensuring paper/system (Oracle) trail on purchases,

receipts/issuances of materials as well as returns from projects.

Ensuring that each team member is being held accountable for each

function.

Inventory of skills of all employees was reviewed; challenged employees

to a new job function by cross-training each staff member to all the

functions in the Warehouse. Thus, allowing each person to move from one

function to another at least within 3 months. It was a painstaking

effort, but rewarding in the end. Inventory Control and cleaning-up of

the limited space was manageable once the right individuals were placed

in specific functions.

Started with 23 employees and over time, recommended to Senior

Management to reduce the number to nine (9), leaving the cream of the

crop who were effective and efficient in performing the tasks. Company

saved money and the department performed effectively. Accuracy in

inventory was at 99.98%; sent employees to cross train with other

departments to get an understanding on the cycle of the business.

Employees established rapport with other departments and were able to

resolve situations that affect customers.

Set goals for employees to attain the best accuracy percentage in

inventory in both converter and material management. Trained Lead

Persons to assist in ensuring that all policies and procedures were

followed through accordingly. As a result, one of the Lead Persons

became a Supervisor.

Took the department to an audit with no exception in September of 2005.

On a temporary basis, for about a year Fleet Department was part of the

Warehouse: created files from scratch on 128 vehicles and ensured that

all vehicles were registered and non-moving ticket violations were paid.

Also ensured that maintenance records were available in the respective

files.

Accountant - Accounts Payable

Reduced the processing time of paying bills by organizing files and

setting-up payment schedules which tremendously reduced phone calls and

complaints from vendors. Reviewed/audited recurring bills from utility

companies such as phone and energy. The company received a total refund

of about $34K. Such process led to permanently cut-off phone lines that

no longer existed as well as energy bills for locations that have long

been given up.

February 1995 - May 1997

North Bergen, New Jersey

Frutarom Meer Corporation (Flavor & Aromatic Chemical Division)

Office/Product Manager

Increased sales volume of the Division by hiring sufficient and

effective manpower to handle the jobs both in the Customer Service and

Warehouse areas.

oils, absolutes and other special products that earned the Division

close to 300% profit.
