Senior Engineering office and project manager with 25+ years experience in

designing electrical and mechanical projects for industrial, commercial,

and public utility facilities. Proficient in power distribution, utility

substation engineering and design, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing,

management, fire alarm and security systems, indoor/outdoor lighting,

. Established, staffed, and developed MEP consulting firm that grew at a

rate of 20% per year from 1990 to 2008.

. Designed total MEP systems for commercial resort and condominium projects

in North and South Carolina in excess of $100 million and New York State

school districts in excess of $25 million.

. Prepared annual project budgeting and reports, estimated costs, selected

sites, specified equipment for substation projects up to $24 million, and

transmission voltages to 345 kV.

. Surveyed industrial facilities, prepared reports on energy-saving

measures, and prepared payback analyses.

. Analyzed utility charges and rate structures and measured motor changes,

fuel switching, peak demand controllers, occupancy sensors, lighting

changes, higher efficiency HVAC systems, and water saving devices.

. Investigated and reported on insurance claims relating to fire loss,

mold, and construction defects; served as expert witness.
