Career Objective

utilize my professional experience of 39 years working in sales and service

environments. I am a self-motivated, reliable, independent, detail

. Facility Administrator - Took this position as a promotion. Assisted

the General Motors vehicle test laboratory. Supported a variety of

managers including the lab manager, the test operations manager and

the technical manager in operation of the emission testing lab.

Additionally, supported a division staff of 25 employees.

. Saved $12,000 for my division office in shipping charges by utilizing

a GM transport company.

. Organized the company vehicle operations program, which provided

transportation to visiting engineers, which resulted in savings of GM

car rental fees, estimated at an annual savings of $48,000.00.

. Effectively managed the coordination of activities/schedules of

visiting engineers by assigning offices, answering questions,

providing supplies and fulfilling requested services ultimately making

the visiting engineers production faster which increased their ability

to meet company deadlines and meet specified objectives.

. Distributed Pontiac car inventory to 140 dealers in eight states.

. Trained new district managers to effectively use their personal

strengths with dealer body in their districts and to use Pontiac car

distribution computer systems and processes.

. Successfully coordinated sale of 250 warehouse surplus vehicles to

dealer body to close out zone office inventory for year-end.

. Handled all special events and media vehicle ordering, prepping,

shipping to final destinations, and secured special event license

plates. Successfully sold these units to dealers at the conclusion of

the special event.

basis for the rest of my career with General Motors. General office duties

included accounts payable clerk, purchasing of office supplies, back up

secretary for all other departments, mail room coordinator as well as the

office receptionist and telephone operator.

General Motors Acceptance Corporation, Salt Lake City, Utah 1970 - 1975

Customer Representative -Was responsible for administration of 3,000

customer accounts and 25 automotive dealerships. Provided a variety of

services such as processing account extensions for customers, ensuring that

every account had a legal title for the vehicle financed, giving credit

ratings to qualified vendors on both customers and dealers, processed

accident and health claims, transfer of equity, life insurance claims, and

providing current information on customers to respective dealers.

Maintained the lowest delinquency/repossession rate on my accounts by

actively following-up with customers through mail and phone. Maintained

all legal documentation required by General Motors and the State of Utah.
