Environmental Assessment La Posta Mountain Warfare Training Facility San Diego, CA –

Managed NEPA environmental documentation coordination and preparation required to support

BLM land withdrawal.

Environmental Assessment Implementation of the Bird/Animal Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH)

Management Plan Naval Base Ventura County Point Mugu, CA– Managed NEPA to reduce

aircraft flight safety risks associated with birds and other wildlife in the airfield environment at

NBVC Point Mugu.

Environmental Assessment Port Hueneme Maintenance Dredge Confined Aquatic Disposal Naval

Base Ventura County, CA– Managed NEPA for removal of contaminated sediments and

construction of confined aquatic disposal and coordinated joint efforts with Oxnard Harbor

District and Army Corps of Engineers.

RESEARCH and ANALYSIS

Post-fire Regeneration of Ceanothus Verrucosus – Researched and analyzed the significance of

wildfire species through transect construction, which were composed to show the population

density after wildfire.

San Diego Bay Green Sea Turtle Research – Researched and analyzed the local populations

through hydrophone placement and gathering to produce locator maps.

Tampa Bay Estuary Program – Composed a grant to be dispersed to Pathfinder Outdoor

Education to receive funding for a project designed to be utilized as a field guide to local outdoor

parks. Also designed map of area with points at which species could be seen and observed for

students and employees as a training tool.

Interpretive Sign for Beach Waste – Developed a visual aide used to help reduce beach waste that

explained the affects of trash on Florida beaches and how harmful it can be to the environment.

Bird Populations in Natural and Artificial Wetlands – Researched and analyzed the importance of

artificial wetlands through charts and tables which were composed to show the population density

between the natural and artificial wetlands.

assist with management within the non-profit arena.

Supervised residential life in dormitories of 36 students. Leadership responsibilities included
