. Implemented a Labor Analysis Business Intelligence solution for a

fictitious national construction company.

. Existing data from diverse data sources were consolidated into a

uniform SQL Server 2005 database. ETL capabilities of SQL Server

Integration Services were used to define imports of the data, build

scheduling packages, to define integration flow, log data error

exceptions and orphaned data and to define Database Maintenance Plans

and send emails.

. Created a number of cubes, dimensions and business critical KPIs using

SQL Server Analysis Services representing aggregations in several

different ways - hierarchically and using custom groupings that the

company will use to analyze performance. Created several MDX queries

according to business requirements.

. Developed several detail and summary reports including line and pie

requirements using SQL Server Reporting Services.

Performance Point Server 2007 Dashboard Designer that feature

executive summary measures for revenue, overhead costs, material

purchases, labor and profitability trends for a fictitious

construction company extracting data from a SQL Server 2005 OLAP data

source and deployed them to SharePoint sites. The dashboards also

contain pages to view performance by employee, by region, and by

quarter enabling end-users to make filter selections.

Oracle Discoverer Administrator and Developer (2005-2009)

. Developed, tested, and deployed Discoverer 4i and 10g reports using

Discoverer Desktop. Responsible for fulfilling requests from users in

Order Management, Inventory Control and Finance.

. Created, modified, and enhanced numerous Discoverer reports within the

targeted timeframe.

. Developed, tested, and deployed Concurrent Program in PL/SQL package

to replace a Materialize View running for hours every morning.

. Accomplished during Discoverer development projects to run adhoc

reports upon request or respond to emails or calls periodically with

Discoverer Plus issues.

. Educated users to be 'Super Users' or developers via Webex followed by

procedural document from logging on to exporting reports.

. Maintained Financial Management Interface (FMI) system designed for

IBM Mainframe, using DB2, QMF, COBOL and Cobol II. System interfaced

daily against an Inventory, Parts and Billing systems.

. Maintained numerous monthly Summary Reports used for balancing against

systems that fed FMI.

. Ensured monthly FMI fed into Client/Server G/L system called Computron

on a HP/Unix system. Utilized REXEC, Unix Scripts and SQL for SYBASE

to transfer FMI monthly detail Journal Entries to G/L Computron

system.

. Maintained Account Payable transactions (invoices) transmitted daily

via EDI (electronic data interface). Invoices were transmitted

directly or indirectly to either the IBM OS/390 and/or HP/Unix

systems.

. Maintained a CICS and batch Freight Rating system that processed all

freight invoices before passing to A/P Computron system and separate

batch process for Airborne Express invoices. Regarding Unix system:

company received daily invoices from in-house Purchase Order system

(CPS). Invoices were parsed by a Perl program, then loaded with Unix

scripts to Sybase database and fed into to A/P Computron system.

. Designed, developed, tested, and implemented an EDI transmission of

invoices daily from Federal Express. Process entailed receipt of EDI

transmission from Federal Express, editing and parsing by a Perl

program and loading into a Sybase database. User had ability to review

all open invoices on Intranet and update, display and/or approve for

payment via Intranet screens. User viewed invoices flagged for

approval, extracted from nightly batch process and fed into A/P

Computron system. System utilized Perl, Unix scripts, HTML and SQL for

Sybase.

PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE Roseland, NJ 1995 - 1996

Consultant Sr. Programmer/Analyst

. Converted VSAM files to DB2 tables for Agent Compensation System. Team

member responsible for Batch Design documentation process which

entailed gathering all Batch Program Specifications and organizing

information for formal presentation to, and education of, end users.

. Designed appropriate Audit System for batch process, which involved

three batch program specifications requiring SQL code. Responsible for

ongoing monitoring progress of project to ensure maximum efficiency.

Management System (MMS) package.

. Enhanced Distribution Planning System by implementing new category

called 'Inner City Stores'. Project required development of table then

loaded to identify all SKU's associated with stores. These

enhancements were written for batch and online programs. Project was

completed in MVS environment utilizing COBOL, Cobol 2, CICS, Xpediter,

CEDF, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, File_Aid and OS/JCL.
