focused on crafting and marketing solutions for different vertical
industries based on existing products and technology components. For

I have worked there for two rounds (combined total 5+ years) over a slew
of different roles cross functional organizations. One of the important
roles I played there was product marketing managing the market leading GIS
(Gentran Integration Suite) as well as a data synchronization/PIM product
extension based on an acquired product line from TR2. At my early years in
Sterling Commerce, I managed GENTRAN development team as a development
manager and product manager.
Neoforma Sr. Product Marketing Manager

Neoforma was a medium-size start-up software company that specialized in
B2B procurement for healthcare vertical. It provides on-line electronic
procurement exchange to facilitate e-commerce/e-business between healthcare
providers (such as GPOs, hospitals, IDNs, and clinics) and their suppliers
(such as medical/surgical device manufacturers and pharmaceutical
companies). I was hired as a business owner for 3 product lines targeting
pharmas and med/surg manufacturers with total revenue goal of $7M. I
launched a brand new Pharmaceutical Market Intelligence solution from the
scratch and built a $2M business in the 1st year.
LION bioscience Product Marketing Manager

LION bioscience was a high flying multi-national bioinformatics company.
It provides data integration platform to pharmaceutical companies,
biotechnology companies, and academic research centers around the world for
them to speed up the drug discovery process that covers target
identification phase, lead generation phase, and clinical trial phase.
From product marketing management perspective, I owned the flagship LION
DiscoveryCenter and world-renown SRS products which are responsible for
half of company's revenue.
Early Career History
. 10 years ago, I started my product marketing management career with a
couple Silicon Valley start-ups, InterTrade in e-Commerce and Centric
Software in PLM / CAD / CAE.
. As a software engineer in Ford Motor, I worked on internal IT projects
for CAD/Plot package, durability/fatigue analysis system, and road load
stress testing database.
. In early to mid 90's, I worked as a researcher in both University of
Michigan and University of Florida at the same time when I was pursuing
my postgraduate degrees there.
