The migrated code from the TPF 4.1 systems to zTPF systems. TPF 4.1 system

has addressing capability of 2GB and has the basic size of memory as 4

bytes. On Migration to zTPF systems, the addressability was increased to

2^19 bytes and the basic size of memory were increased to 8 bytes. So the

applications were tested before and after migration for their functions.

Testing was concentrated on product areas associated with the PSS and PNRC

ICM Core Automation: This suite automates call routing features available

in core ICM, which uses complex logic. This was a major achievement because

we were able to save up to 5 person days of testing in every release. ICM

Configuration Manager: This automation suite took care of the Basic

Configuration required in the ICM. This script automated the pre-requisite

configuration required for running ICM applications. If any of the

prerequisite was missing or incorrect, the script automatically performed

configuration so that the entire prerequisite was done and verified before

running the ICM applications. Running this suite ensured uninterrupted and

smooth execution of other test suites.
