Processing weekly and biweekly multi-state payroll with some exposure to
California payroll law includes; calculation gross to net pay, audit and
balancing the payroll. Inputting new hires, terminations, leave of absence,
rate changes; time and attendance, benefit deductions, garnishment (federal
and state), severance payment. Processing all vendor related transaction
such as 401K and short term disability payments. Prepare and transmit
payroll information to payroll service provider within a timely manner.
Audit and reconcile payroll transactions against source documents and
certified attendance records. Adherers to internal and external SOX and
SAS70 audit requirement. Prepare journal entries for weekly and bi-weekly
payrolls. First point of contact of all employees time and attendance
issues. Research discrepancies of payroll information or documents;
Maintain payroll information, files and records; Distribute payroll
reports; Create queries and report upon request; balance and record multi-
state taxes payment.
