EXPERIENCE Mr. Dubin's experience includes both the design and
construction fields, from ground ups to retrofits and
remodels. He is familiar with all facets of the building
and development process from entitlements through
occupancy.
Project Director/Construction Manager, Wasserman Real
Estate Capital and Vornado Realty Trust
Responsible for the development and construction of a
condominium project in Pasadena, CA. Responsibilities
included management of architect and contractor,
preparation of owner budget and schedule, monitoring of
contractor budget and schedule, proforma updates, review
and negotiation of change order requests, estimating and
quality assurance and control.
Project Director, PCM
Responsible for pre-construction and development services
for publicly and privately funded projects ranging from a
ground-up student housing project and multiple residential
retrofit projects at UCLA, LAUSD, a mixed use center,
medical facilities for Antelope Valley Hospital and
adaptive reuse of historic structures in downtown Los
Angeles.
Construction Manager/Tenant Coordinator, General Growth
Properties
Field construction manager for remodel and expansion of
Northridge Fashion Center. Responsible for developing
solutions that minimized impact on schedule and cost;
resolving contractor and subcontractor requests for
information; reviewing quality of construction and
conformance of construction with contract documents; and
coordination with tenant architects and contractors.
Project Manager, GFBA Architects
Project Manager for residential, shopping center,
institutional facilities and tenant improvements.
Responsible for contracts, scheduling, budgeting, staffing,
attending owner meetings, working with city and county
agencies, and attending public hearings. Responsible for
all construction phase services.
Assistant Director of Planning, Charles Kober Associates
Responsible for the site planning of regional and community
shopping centers including buildings, vehicular and
pedestrian access and circulation, parking, service, and
landscaping. Projects included ground-ups and additions.
RELEVANT Mr. Dubin has been associated with the following

UCLA Sunset Terrace and Faculty Levering Housing Retrofit
Retrofit of window, door and landscape planters due to
water intrusion caused by
faulty construction. Retrofit included replacement of
interior and exterior finishes.
Granite Park Place, Pasadena
71 unit luxury condominium project consisting of flats,
town homes and work-live units
on podium over 3 levels of subterranean parking.
Silverlake Skyline, Los Angeles
72 housing units. Designed as apartments for conversion to
condominiums.
Main Mercantile Building, Los Angeles
The Main Mercantile Building was constructed in 1905 and
housed the city's most successful furniture retail store
and manufacturing facility of the first half if the 20th
century. The building featured the first window wall
facades in Los Angeles. PCM is overseeing the conversion of
the building into loft style housing.
UCLA Southwest Campus Student Housing, Los Angeles
Involved from initial planning through the completion of
construction for this ambitious project, the largest
development and construction project outside of the new
medical center on campus. Over 1.3 million square feet,
there are 830 units in seven buildings each with
subterranean parking. The 14 acre site required new roads,
utilities and a telecommunications infrastructure and took
three years to complete.
Antelope Valley Hospital Imaging Center and Medical Office
Building, Lancaster
Managed multiple projects for this client. Assisted the
hospital in the planning, design, financing and
construction of this out-patient facility. This four-story
building contains a woman's center, two MRI and CAT scan
rooms, a PET scan room, a linear accelerator and office
space for doctors.
Northridge Fashion Center, Northridge
As Mr. Dubin's client for over fifteen years, this retail
oriented facility has undergone drastic changes during
that time including three remodels - one after the 1994
earthquake, two expansions and a conversion into a multi
use facility. As an architect and then construction
management consultant, Mr. Dubin worked with the client's
asset management, development and leasing groups to create
what had become one of the highest revenue generating
dollar/square foot centers in all of Southern California.
