Responsible for testing United States Antarctic Program (USAP)
business and web applications in AREV, .NET, Java, &
ColdFusion. Utilized Microsoft's SQL Server Manager to query
databases, configure SSIS jobs, and create and maintain users
for the QA environment. Have experience working with multiple
platforms and operating systems: Novell, Microsoft Windows
Servers2003, DOS, WindowsXP, SharePoint, MacOS X, and RedHat
Linux. Experience utilizing open source tools such as
Bugzilla and CVS for defect management and version control.
Helped in developing software testing procedures as well as
release/versioning control policies for the USAP. Initiated
an auditing program to test and report the compliance of all
computing devices using the security standards of the NIST
National Checklist Program. Corrected and documented
deficiencies to earn an A+ rating in a government audit.
Recently deployed to McMurdo Station and Black Island, Antarctica.
Worked on the NPOESS project, a satellite ground station
upgrade, by testing the new monitoring and control software,
MaxView, for the 11m and 7.2m satellite systems upgrade.
Performed and verified the user acceptance test document.

development. Assigned AREV point of contact for a large
network upgrade project. Was the project manager for a

(AREV) under both Novell and Windows platforms. Designated

application, Cargo Tracking System (CTS) in Denver and seven
remote sites with specific tasking in requirements gathering,
development, and design as well as general maintenance and
support of the system. Other programming skills include
Java, .Net C# and Intermec Bar Coding.
