Professional experience:
ENGINEERING DESIGN DRAFTING:
* Journeyman drafting both on the board and the computer. (Certified)
AutoCAD, Rev. 9 -2004, (x-ref,s, paper space) DOS, UNIX, Windows -
XP, Softdesk (DCA), LDD2, Auto-Architect, Word and Excel.
ARCHITECTURAL:
* Worked with Engineer on the design of large multiple level commercial
complexes. Designed residential, industrial and commercial buildings for
new construction, repair and/or remodel, which included HVAC, piping,
electrical, structural, and foundation drawings as needed. Designed
multi-level structures for public and rental car parking, terminal
facilities and other complexes as required on and around airports.
CIVIL:
* Designed and drew all required plans for development of raw land into a
completed project for commercial facilities, multiple and single family
homes, which included sewer, storm drainage, street curb and gutters,
roads and interstate highways. Designed and developed environmental and
telecommunications site maps, airport layouts, airspace, navaids, roads
and land use for large metropolitan airports, aircraft accident
investigation plots and FAA training aids. Surveying and working with
data (GPS), land titles, deeds, easements and other information necessary
to establish a clear title.
MECHANICAL:
* As a Project Manager my duties included coordinating with sales,
customers, engineering and fabrication to design and build a product
meeting the customers needs and ensuring the quality expected in a timely
manner for shipment. This product (inline weight scales) required the
design of electrical and piping diagrams, schematics and control panels.
This was one of many parts and systems I designed and/or assisted in the
design, for the food industry and railroads.
STRUCTURAL:
* Designed facility layouts which included building structure, piping,
plumbing, HVAC, stairs, systems and machine design, flat work layouts
(cones, tanks, screens, chutes, spirals and tables), plumbing and
electrical diagrams, schematics and control panels as necessary to
complete the project. Worked with engineering on the design and
construction of large multiple story commercial complexes. Designed,
Supervised and Quality Control on reinforced (pre-stressed) concrete
structures with rebar.
