ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE
STAFF ENGINEER 1/2009 -
Present
Triasys, Chelmsford, MA
. Currently working on a project to design embedded C code to capture RF
signal and process data. The project involves configuring a Gray Chip
down converter and to process the data on a Tiger SHARC DSP chip.
. Developed a real time client-server application to stream GSM voice
and SMS traffic from BTS to VoIP H.323 endpoint.
. Designed and developed a real time GUI based client-server
application, which collected data through WinPcap and processed
through a complex signal processing algorithm for direction finding
(DF). I was involved in this project from start to finish and
performed all the HW/SW integration, troubleshooting and field
testing.
. Implemented notch filter based DTMF detector. Verified and tested the
implementation using MITEL test signals.
. Design, implemented and tested CPT, Ring back and Busy tone detector.
. Ported C based CVI code for a WinDemod system into a QT C++ Code.
Redesigned the application for platform independent implementation.
. Implemented telecommunication protocols such as V42bis data
compression algorithm.
. Travelled on site to customer location to debug and troubleshoot
issue.
. Mentored new hire coops enabling them to learn new products and
protocols quicker.
SOFTWARE ENGINEER 3/2008
- 12/2008
MIT Lincoln Laboratory, Lexington, MA
. Design a software application to analyze and process image signals.
The project involved implementing several image processing algorithm
and GUI to analyze and visualize results. The application would allow
a user analyze the effects of various imagine processing techniques on
a signal type.
. Investigated performance of various FIR and IIR filters.
. Analyzed performance of FIR and IIR filters in various signal
environment.
System ENGINEER 7/2005 -
3/2008
Raytheon, Woburn, MA
Security Clearance Level: Secret
. My primary responsibility is to apply digital signal processing
techniques to analyze the performance of a specific subsection of an
algorithm design, and propose / implement design changes that arise
form the investigations.
. Developed MATLAB based simulation tools to analyze data and reduce the
time it take to generate key reports.
. Performed case studies and presented results to senior engineers and
manager to aid in our understanding of specific phenomena as they have
impacted our design of new algorithms.
. Assisted software development team with integration and unit testing
of algorithms.
. Design test plans and automation script for regression analysis.
. Mentored a high school coops enabling them to learn work ethics.
