Anacomp Inc. 1996 - 2009

Application Engineer II/ Developer (Anacomp, San Diego CA, Herndon VA)

. Created the necessary C/C++ applications on Unix IBM AIX utilizing

GNU gcc 3.3.2. Non existent applications were needed for data analysis

and transformation and subsequent loading to a Sybase repository and

accessed via the clients' secure web sites. Extensive use of Korn

Shell scripting, Vi editor, SQL querying, etc.

. Configured proprietary application (System Configuration Program) for

ingestion of integrated data streams to a Sybase database for storage

and web site retrieval.

. Took over in house and customer support at the main facility of

Anacomp's secure docHarbor Online operations. Worked closely with NOC

trouble shooting and correcting problems at all levels of the

information management process

. Devised the procedures to handle and analyze variety of data formats

and documents for a wide range of industries: Insurance, Health,

Legal, State, Local and Federal governments

. Document management included: data transmission and integrity,

revision and creation of Korn Shell daemons and scripts in AIX, SQL,

software configuration, web servers, mid-tier and back end servers
