Provides line and heavy-haul, refrigerated and intermodal transportation
services to the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Overarching responsibility for managing critical operational projects for
the company and key clients. Position entails developing existing business
relationships and cultivating new contacts to achieve organizational goals.
Technical involvement includes architecting account-code specific mileage
systems (RPGILE/Synon), interactive batch systems for billing, EDI
transactions and myriad other initiatives. Programming efforts have
directly and positively impacted the organization across Accounts
Receivable, Billing, Rating, Tariff and Payroll departments and have
resulted in multi-million dollar annual windfalls.
Selected accomplishments:
. Most recent project was a three year initiative involving the
conversion of EDI data to a new Java-based McCloud system. This was a
massive effort that required extensive mapping and reconfiguration to
ensure a seamless transition to the new environment, as well as
management of the McCloud relationship and ongoing liaison with
McCloud's representatives.
. Led significant improvements to mileage tracking capabilities for the
company and its clients. Successfully programmed an account code-
specific mileage system (via Synon and RPGILE) to interface with PC
Miler, allowing users far greater flexibility in selection of
situation-specific queries (e.g., shortest miles, tolls, 53-foot
trailer restrictions, hazmat restrictions, etc.)

EXTOL translator. Responsible for QA Testing and customer acceptance.
These initiatives have positively impacted the company across numerous

billing data, speeding up the billing process 10-fold and saving
the company an estimated $8M to $10M annually.
