OBJECTIVE
To obtain a challenging position in the chemical engineering industry with
an emphasis in process/project engineering. I want the opportunity to
utilize my analytical and technical skills effectively to improve company
operations as well as apply the theories and principles of science and
mathematics to research and develop economical solutions.
EXPERIENCE DATES
ENVIRONEX, INC - PROJECT ENGINEER - Wayne, Pa December
2008- July 2010
Work with clients throughout North America with catalytic reduction
of greenhouse gases in the power generating, refinery, and landfill gas
industries Sample catalyst used for NOx and CO reduction in Selective
Catalytic Reduction systems
Test catalyst for activity, pore size distribution, surface area,
chemical contaminants, VOC destruction, and SO2 oxidation
Project end of life of catalyst to procure replacement before
emissions become a problem
Analyze operating data to see graphical trends in emissions and use
in conjunction with performance tests
Develop maintenance program to extend catalyst lifecycle
Define design specifications and review catalyst bids for catalyst
replacement and new on overall design, operability, cost, and catalyst
lifetime.
Troubleshoot problems with emissions
Tune ammonia injection grid for better distribution
State all data and conclusions in a concise report
Market for new clients as a third party consultant
Helped to define SCR catalyst technology and plausible limits for
Canada's Ministry of the Environment new regulations
Perform design audits for initial engineering design as well as
retrofits
