PROJECTS:

. Freeway Frenzy: Currently developing a new iphone game called freeway

frenzy in a team of 4 (as team lead) using the latest iphone SDK on

cocos2d and Objective C.

. Circuit Warfare: Developed an iphone game, in a team of 4, using iphone

SDK, Objective C and cocos2D.

Circuit Warfare is a multiplayer card game in which players use a variety

of Circuit Cards and Magic Cards to compete with each other. The

objective of this game is to turn as many cards on the Field as possible

into the player's color. A match ends when the Field is all covered by

cards or one of the players runs out of cards. I was one of the game

programmers.

. Web Application: (Worked on Ajax, JSON, Java Servlets, Tomcat)

Developed a web application that a). Allows a user to enter a "location",

as city, state; b). Retrieves the coordinates of such location using the

Google Maps Geocoding Service through REST query and Json data is

retrieved (java servlet then extracts latitude and longitude); c).

Servlet uses the coordinates to retrieve upto 20 public images from

Flickr, using the Flickr Services API; The Servlet then produces the json

file that is returned asynchronously to the original XMLHttpRequest d)

Java script displays the images thumbnails in the UI; e). Allows the user

to select one image, and display a larger version of the selected image;

f). Authorizes (log in) the user to Facebook; g). Posts the image and a

. Implemented Spatial Datatypes and Graphical Query Language: (Java,

Oracle)

Developed a GUI program supporting Graphical Query language (GQL) that

allows users to select spatial attributes for spatial queries (selected

from USC map). Also implemented Oracle spatial queries and spatial

indexes were used to store the coordinates of the vertices of buildings,

zones and people.

Designed and developed an accordion widget, with HTML/JavaScript program,

which takes the URL of an XML document containing the final results of

selected sports at the 2008 Olympic Games, parses the XML file, and

displays results in an HTML document that displays a collapsible

accordion widget with titles of different sports events. Clicking on a

title will display information about the winner of the event in an HTML

table along with a picture and a video related to the event or the

. Website (PERL Search aggregator):

(Perl CGI, Apache) Fall 09

Developed a website, which summarizes the result of a search query

on Youtube.com. When a user issues a search query, the server-side

script executes the query on youtube and retrieves the video name, video

description, video rating, and video thumb of the top three records from

"Playlist Results", "Channel Results", and "Promoted Videos".

. Socket Programming Project in C (unix)

Fall 2009

Project was based on simulating a race among 4 cell phone units to find

their way with the help of 2 base stations and reach a target before

running out of battery or going out of range. The communications take

place over TCP and UDP sockets in client-server architecture.

ACTIVITIES:

. I took a 12 week (Aug 07 - Oct 07) complete training on Oracle9i, from

SQL Star International Ltd., New Delhi.

. I appeared for SQL paper (of OCP) and cleared it with 92% (score of 48).
