Chief Information Officer, U.S. Department of Labor. Provided functional, operational, and technical
infrastructure planning, support, and implementation. Installed, configured, and customized DEAMS
Portal. Provided system administration expertise, including user account, and role based security
configuration. Extended the Cognos Reporting Framework by incorporating XML data sources
and leveraging XSLT to render HTML, MS Word, and MS Excel reports. Achieved Data
Integration by linking multiple XML documents to produce differently formatted output.
Leveraged DocBook XML to render XML content as MS Word formatted documents. Developed
and wrote queries and reports, performed table and Datamart design. Developed data marts by
configuring Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) interface. Developed dashboards, and custom security
module that intefaced with Troux Portal and Cognos Report Server.

Developed and delivered customized implementation of the Metis Modeling Workbench into the SSA
infrastructure. Provided functional, operational, and technical infrastructure assessment of the Metis
tool. Customized the Metis user interface through metamodeling, and developed standard
reporting framework by customizing criterias and scripts. Key outcomes of integrating this tool into
the SSA environment were: facilitating the further development of IT standards and principles; helping
