Professional Experience
11/2007 – Current
Pharmacogenetics, LLC., 3417 E M L King Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 83132
Pharmaceutical Sales Representative
I promoted DNA genetic testing for Plavix through effective interaction with health care professionals and
organizations in the St. Louis area. The test enables doctors to see how a patient will metabolize the anti-
clotting drug based upon a patient’s genetic makeup. I maintained current and competent levels of
knowledge of Pharmacogenetics services. I planned work schedules and timetables so as to implement
an effective call plan. I built effective business relationships with health care partners and customers. I
developed strategies to approach potential customers and increase sales. I was responsible for cold
calling and distributed information to health care professionals, which included service presentations, and
answering questions from health care professionals. I helped organize group events, conferences, and
lunch-ins for health care professionals. I maintained detailed records of all contacts and meetings and
created reports when needed. I was responsible for keeping current with the competition's products,
service offerings and activities.
I have been notified that Pharmacogentics, LLC will be eliminating five of their sales reps in the St. Louis
area. Since I am on the low end of seniority, I will be laid-off at the end of the month, and now I am
seeking employment.

membership terminations, while increasing new monthly memberships.

Warehouse Manager and Operations
I was hired as a warehouse employee. Within seven months I replaced a very experienced warehouse
manager that had been employed with the company for nine years. As the warehouse manager I over
saw all shipping, receiving, and inventory levels of the warehouse. I managed a staff of eight warehouse
employees. I had direct responsibility in controlling over $100 million dollars of electronic inventory.
Strict control of the inventory was ensured by monthly inventory checks. I also managed all other
operations including: maintenance, security, and vendor show set-up. Vendor show set-up consisted of
setting up display units for upcoming products at locations all around the U.S.
Key Achievements:
• Achieved “perfect” monthly inventory checks for the first time ever in the ten-year company history by
gaining complete control of received and shipped goods through my personal excel inventory
spreadsheet.
• Implemented a high technological scanning barcode system into the warehouse, which controlled
inventory levels.
• Set records for quantities shipped and received.
• Completely revamped the interior logistics of the warehouse.
After four and a half years as a warehouse manager, I was promoted to Project Manager. There I worked
directly with the Vice President of sales. My responsibilities were to create and maintain projects with
boat manufactures in the South-East region. The company was bought out by the Clarion Corporation
and the business was relocated after a little more than one year as a sales representative. This forced me
to find a new job.
