Math Teacher
Taught Middle School Math in a team environment. Used new technology and
innovative methods to increase test scores in an under-performing and at-
risk school. Accreditation was attained for the first time because of
increased Math scores. Developed curriculum, instituted measurements, and
tracked progress in a program later used in other schools.

Planned the business implementation for strategic training design and
program development to include e-Learning, instructor-led, custom course
development, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) as appropriate. Worked

Managed the pilot and deployment of an organization-wide e-Learning and HR
system. Managed client meetings, project plan, and communications for
cutover and operations. Provided executives with vital information about
client management skills, knowledge, and abilities which is used on a
strategic level to plan for staffing improvements, thus enhancing
organizational effectiveness. Analyzed trends in management and executive
capabilities to identify areas that require training or targeted staffing

IRS Modernization Program, (See paragraphs 1 and 2 below)
3/2000-6/2004
For approximately 5 years served as Organizational Change Manager for
Release Deployment on two Treasury Department/IRS projects under the CSC
PRIME program. The first was a telecommunication project, a contract via
IBM as a Training Lead. The second, also for Treasury Department/IRS, was a
database warehouse project to calculate and store tax records commonly
known as CADE as the Organizational Change Manager for Release Deployment.
1) IRS Modernization Program, IBM - CADE
Organizational Change Project Manager
Customer Account Data Engine Project (CADE) led the release Business
Transformation for team for cutover and operations on a large database
management project. Managed all Training, Staffing, Documentation, and
Communication efforts for the release deployment so that all stakeholders
understood this major business change and were prepared for their new
roles. Led the Transition efforts to prepare IRS stakeholders to accept and
operate a large, complex database accounting system, which resulted in
smooth transition of the system to the client. Worked as a liaison with IRS
executives to capture and resolve open risks and issues as we approached
implementation so that problems could be anticipated and corrected.
Managed all humanistic aspects of Cutover Planning and Transition to
Support for the release. Led the effort to identify and resolve any gaps
in readiness from both a technical and non-technical perspective.
Participated in weekly status meetings with IRS executives and program
management to track project status, manage the change control process, and
track risks and issues to maintain close communication and control of a
large, complex project. Assisted with business continuity planning
including preparation for natural disasters, terrorist attacks, system
failure and other contingencies.
Assisted as training manager in the achievement of CMM level 3, which
certified that the project was being operated in a professional manner and
met the requirements outlined in the IRS contract.
2) IRS Modernization Program, Northrop Grumman - Customer Communications
Project (CC)
Training and Documentation Lead
Managed the team responsible to define the client's training requirements
and meet those requirements to ensure that new systems could be
successfully operated and maintained by the IRS. Participated in the
development of an overall Organizational Change and Transition plans for
the benefit of preparing call centers nationwide to take ownership of the
new technology upon cutover. Initiated and managed a volunteer project
quality team that assisted with identifying and resolving issues arising
from being the first project in this comprehensive IRS modernization
program. Worked closely with technical teams and the client on Business
Implementation efforts.
AMS 3/1999-12/1999
Organizational Change/Training Consultant
Led the development of several internal training programs to train business
analysts. Developed and presented training programs to improve business
analysts' and managers' performance. Identified training needs for the
local government team to ensure relevance to the organization.
Medicare Call Center Project 10/1997-
2/1999
Training Project Manager
Developed and managed complex training program for 1-800-MEDICARE customer
support line as part of a new call system deployment. Managed call-center
training and organizational change planning for the implementation. Worked
closely with the client to build understanding of the Medicare program and
to develop simple and accurate documentation, which was posted on the
Medicare Web site and used nationally as the sanctioned "bible" of the
program. Assisted in redesigning the Medicare information system used in
call centers to simplify access to information, resulting in vastly
improved customer service. Participated in risk and issue resolution for
cutover and operations. Managed the organizational change project plan.

training solutions tailored to the client's needs. Presented courses and

presented nationally entitled, "Excellence in Recruiting." Marketing
