disciplinary issues within the fire department; I managed all promotional

testing for the fire department and conducted interviews and hiring as well as

termination of employees. I supervised 88 employees and managed a budget

of 2.7 million annually.

Duties included overseeing day to day operation of the fire department which

included all elements within the department as the Fire Chief, managing and

preparing the department’s annual budget, command role at major fires or

incidents, and oversee the combat and administrative workforce. This position

also required community presentations and attending monthly commission

meetings to present needs or accomplishments of the fire department, this

position required me to supervise 35 employees and manage a budget of 1.4

million annually.

departments. Monitor and implement comprehensive disaster preparedness

needs shelters within the region. Being housed in Environmental Health

sections I received certification in Hazardous Material, Radiation, and white
