Steven C. Sharp
Dearborn, MI *****
Dear Sir or Madam:
I am interested in applying with your Company as Industrial Electrician.
Please note that I have extensive experience and training in all phases of
industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
I have had formal classroom training with the most widely used Allen-
Bradley PLC control systems. I've taken classes in Fanuc CNC programming
and maintenance as well as Fanuc JP-3 robot programming and
maintenance/repair. Combined with Indramat and Allen-Bradley digital drive
classes. Along with training I have acquired years of troubleshooting
experience on nearly every type of industrial machinery. If the equipment
is unfamiliar it can be repaired using prints and ladder diagrams,
sometimes even without. Much of my experience is in steel mills where
cranes are the prime movers and therefore the lifeblood of steel
production.
I possess the skills, knowledge, ability, training, background, and take
pride in my willingness to do best job possible for my employer. With
everything that I can bring to your table so to speak. I know that there
exists a certain reluctance based on a preconceived negative notion towards
auto plant skilled tradesmen. Perhaps there is a feeling that we are too
union job description limited to fit in elsewhere. To make this assumption
would be incorrect. If it is in your company's best interest to hire the
best qualified personnel, then it is within your best interest to at least
interview each qualified person.
Sincerely,
Steven C. Sharp
