Technical Experience

. Twenty plus years of experience in designing of data centers,

educational, institutional, residential, healthcare, light industrial

and other commercial facilities.

. Designed complete power distribution systems including use of dual ended

switchboards, power conditioners, redundant standby systems, various

configurations of multiple Uninterruptible Power Supplies, frequency

conversion systems, TVSS, 15 KV primary services, grounding systems,

diesel fuel systems with associated monitoring systems.

. Designed various type of battery systems, battery monitoring systems,

fire alarm systems, security, CCTV, telecommunication, television

antenna, master clock, sound, PA/Intercom,, gas suppression, leak

detection, rescue assistance, nurse call, wandering systems.

. Lighting design included application of direct and indirect lighting,

daylight harvesting, automatic lighting controls, T-5 lamps and LED

luminaries. Designed lighting systems to comply with Energy Conservation

Codes.

Administrative Experience

. As a project engineer and specialist, supervised and directed junior

designers to utilize latest electrical engineering concepts and

practices.

. Involved in preparing proposals, facility assessment, client meetings,

established project priorities, created standards, participated in

preparing budgets and policies.

. Coordinated engineering and administrative issues with other disciplines

and other departments. Managed multiple projects while meeting budgets

and schedules.

. Responsibilities included project coordination and management,

specification and report writing, load calculations, short circuit

calculations, equipment layout and selection, submittal reviews,

preparing utility plans, cost estimates, liaison work and feasibility

studies. Handled administration of contracts including site visits,

construction meetings and resolved construction issues.

Examples of Accomplishments

. Totally responsible for all aspects of electrical design for a new

335,000 square feet, 3 story high school building in a rural area. As a

part of the project, negotiated with the electric utility company to

install a new 12KV power distribution center on the premises.

. Created new standards and wrote master specifications for the company,

which improved efficiency by more than 10 % and reduced project

completion time.

. Designed a 10,000 Amp, 480Volt rated paralleling switchgear paralleling

four 2000 KW (total 8000 KW) generators. This project including design

of 85,000 Square Feet of 36" deep raised floor and redundant UPS system

completed in 7 weeks.

. Designed electrical infrastructure for some of the large and complex

projects and guided other engineers in the office to complete these

projects.

. Several clients awarded projects to my previous firm with the

understanding that I would be the lead engineer on their projects

. Led a team to establish electrical standards for a school district with

more than 15 schools

. Recognized by senior managers as a superior writer for Reports and

System Descriptions.
