Produced more than 25 web-based and web-enhanced graduate and
undergraduate courses each term. Consulted one-on-one with
university faculty across all disciplines. Designed
pedagogically sound multimedia to support course concepts.
Collaborated well with a team of technical and managerial
staff. Produced and presented small group training seminars
at the Center and during the annual eLearning Institute.
Topics included authentic assessment, student diversity,
effective and efficient communication, course evaluation,
media choices, library support, accessibility, cognitive
tools. Researched, published and facilitated an online
faculty development course focused on strategies for
designing, teaching, and evaluating courses, Essential
Questions, ID 101, especially when using new media and
technologies. Designed programs for secondary Math and
Science teachers, for science courses taught from a Native
American perspective [NSF grant], Nursing, Spanish Language,
Women's Studies, Religious Studies, Communication Disorders,
Engineering, Teacher Education. Managed student design and
research work. Began a research project involving Spanish
Language acquisition in online programs. Used WebCT course
management system, Microsoft Office for both PC and Mac,
DreamWeaver, Oracle calendar, Inspiration, Adobe Acrobat and
Elements, audio/video capture and editing softwares. 2002 -
