Racked and configured Intel Servers installing Windows Server
2003/2007/2008. Performing administration, system maintenance, and
troubleshooting all issues with all servers. Configured Active Directory
adding servers and desktop machines to the root of AD. Each server
configured had over 10,000 objects. Project Management, network
troubleshooting, LAN/WAN server hardware and software installations.
Install and configure Wireless networks (Routers and Switches). Performed
AD, Exchange (Outlook) and Lotus Notes administration and troubleshot
Active Directory issues. I also performed Desktop Support at each location
supporting laptops, desktop machines, printers, and all peripherals.

Project Management for migration from Netware to Windows 2003 Server.

Design a Disaster Recovery Contingency Plan for the company in case of a
catastrophic event to recover the core of the infrastructure to enable
normal operations.
Perform Project management for multiple projects:
1) Data Encryption Project: Implementing and orchestrating the WinMagic
Full Disk Encryption Project for all of the corporate machines to ensure
all hard drives (hard disk) are encrypted. Recovering data from any
encrypted drives which the operating system crashed. Perform database
maintenance on the SecureDoc Enterprise Server (SES). Upgraded the
application builds on SES to be pushed out to the client machines.
Troubleshoot all issues pertaining to the project.
2) Performing an intricate role in the Cisco Security Agent Project to
prevent viruses and Spyware from loading onto all corporate machines by
organizing, implementing, and troubleshooting all issues as they pertain to
the project. Configured the Windows 2003 Servers for all upgrades.
3) Active Directory Migration Project: Utilized Active Directory
Migration Tool (v 3.0) to perform domain migrations for all user and
machine accounts from the child domains to the parent domain (domain
collapse). Use Active Directory Sites and Services for server replication
to expedite pushing the user accounts to the parent domain. Perform
migrations using Microsoft Terminal Client Services, Netmeeting, and the
client VPN for users located at remote locations. Troubleshoot any issues
pertaining to the project.

applications pose a potential threat. Use the Trend Micro OfficeScan
Server to scan and clean machines if necessary.
ABN-AMRO (Outsourced to IBM), Chicago (June '04 - July '06)
Systems Analyst - 40 to 65 hrs. /week
Configured, administered, and troubleshoot Windows 2000/2003 Server and
Windows 2000 Pro/XP machines. Troubleshoot all Lotus Notes issues and
performed Notes Administration. Troubleshoot network issues and also
provide Citrix support (Management Console for Metaframe XP) in USA and
India. Worked on a Project team to complete old and newly created IT
projects.
ABN-AMRO, Chicago & Milwaukee (January '03 - February '04) & (July '01 -
August '02)
Network Consultant - 40 to 65 hrs. /week
Performed implementation, administration, and troubleshot Active Directory
for ABN-AMRO with over 25,000 objects for Windows 2000/2003 Server. The
migration was from Novell Netware to Windows 2000/2003 and Windows NT 4.0.
Performed administration on Novell Netware using NWAdmin Manager,
troubleshooting all client/server issues pertaining to the production
network and the migration process. Administered the Novell Application
Launcher which is how the users received their Novell Apps. Also,
performed Citrix Metaframe administration.
United HealthCare Group (August '02 - December '02)
Consultant (Windows NT/2000 Engineer) - 40 to 65 hrs. /week
Windows 2000 Migration from Windows NT 4.0. A12000+ object Active
Directory Server environment with LAN management and services at a central
location in Arizona, with migration continuing throughout the country. The
migration consisted of server and desktop builds running VB scripts and
manual installations. Extensive hands on troubleshooting was performed on
all network, server, or desktop issues pertaining to Windows NT/2000, Lotus
Notes, RAS (VPN), or the bandwidth of the production network.
APROPOS TECHNOLOGY, Oakbrook Terrace, IL (October '99 - March '01)
Network Administrator - 40 to 65 hrs. /week
Responsibilities include Project Management, Distributed Network
Performance Development, Monitoring Network Traffic and Disk Space,
Capacity Planning, LAN/WAN Design, Server Administration and Management.
Also, served as the administrator of Exchange, VPN, Firewall, and
Backup/Recovery. Created (technical and user) documentation for all
projects and procedures.
Utilized Microsoft Project 2000 and Visio 2000 to design the protocol for
the Frame Relay WAN Link from the Corporate Office to our United Kingdom
Office. Responsible for the configuration of the Cisco routers (RIP) on
both sides of the WAN. Once both networks could communicate, I had to
insure the machines on both networks were communicating.
Redesigned the Ethernet backbone for the entire network converting a hub
network (10MB) into a switch network (100MB and fiber optic) by
implementing Cisco 3748 XL Switches. Designed and implemented the TCP/IP
Structure from 256 nodes (Class C network) to a CIDR (Classless
Internetwork Domain Routing) expanded to 4096 nodes. Migrated the Post.
Office mail server to Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 in 2 days.
