Documented upgrade to v9.3.1 Hyperion/Essbase modifications.

DENNY'S CORPORATION, Spartanburg, SC 12/02/2008 - 12/31/2008

Contractor:

Worked with Hyperion team on upgrade of Hyperion/Essbase from v6.5.5 to

v9.3.1 and move to new server. Updated and recompiled ESSCMD scripts that

load and calc, also modified Perl scripts to point to new server. Tested

and validated new cubes.

DENNY'S CORPORATION, Spartanburg, SC 05/2000 - 09/2008

Senior Software Engineer:

(2001-2008) Responsible for following systems:

Sales Verification System.

Enhanced and maintained existing software, including unit and integration

testing and debugging and user training. Wrote SQL and Unix scripts to

create interfaces to other systems. Data was polled from over 1500 stores

each evening and loaded into Oracle tables using PL/SQL. User interfaces

was Oracle Forms.

Hyperion/Essbase OLAP.

Designed, tested, assisted in user validation, and implementation of

multiple cubes, created interfaces, and wrote calculation scripts and load

rules. Once in production, was responsible for modifications and

maintenance. Created Hyperion reports and analyzer reports for users.

Modified perl scripts to call esscmd scripts and move data from Unix

servers to windows server for essbase processing

Payroll Transaction Reports.

Provided support and requested modifications as deemed necessary. This

system collected hourly payroll information from stores, loaded information

into Oracle tables. SQL is run against tables to create exception reports

that were emailed to users.

Remedy.

Supported this purchased package used to track customer complaints.

Upgraded software as needed and assisted in trouble shooting user problems.

This is an Oracle based product.

(2000-2001) Responsible for following;

Part of team converting Legacy systems from IBM Mainframe to Unix servers.

Legacy systems were written in COBOL, CICS, IMS using JCL on IBM MVS and

VSE mainframes. Cobol programs were rewritten in MICROFOCUS COBOL and

Lawson Cobol. JCL was converted to UNIX scripts.

AHOLD CORPORATION, Greenville, SC 1998-2000

Maintained Warehousing system.

The bulk of this system was on IBM mainframe, using COBOL, CICS, IMS, JCL

and IBM utilities. I also maintained portions of the system on UNIX using
