Panama Canal Commission - former federal agency within US DOT:

for automated scheduling of ships in Panama Canal - Enhanced
Vessel Traffic Management System (EVTMS). The EVTMS system is
used in the Panama Canal successfully since 1999 for advance
scheduling of ships and real time traffic control.
. Programmed in SQL the EVTMS database views and stored
procedures for the advance traffic scheduler (smart event
time calculator for ship transits in Panama locks) and for
the pilot scheduling application.
