Consultant. Responsible for the development of a Visual FoxPro Payroll
System. System analysis, design, implementation, installation, and
support. Full project life cycle. Responsibilities also include supporting
programmers in development. Ongoing support for sales, client services,
training, help desk, importing, exporting, conversions, populating PDF
fillable files, etc.
April 1999 to November 2000 - StayInFront, Inc., Fairfield, New Jersey
Lead Developer. Responsible for customizing Customer Relationship
Management (CRM) solutions for several clients in the pharmaceutical and
food processing industries. Customizations are based off the VFP Visual
Elk framework, client/server environment, Visual FoxPro 6.0 GUI, Fox
tables on remote units, SQL Server 7.0 for home office users. System
analysis, design, implementation, installation, and support. Full project
life cycle. Responsibilities also include interviewing and supporting
programmers in development. Ongoing support for sales, client services,
training, and help desk.
October 1997 to February 1999 - Micro Strategies, Inc., Denville, New

Senior Programmer. Responsible for re-writing FoxPro custom software
business applications in Visual FoxPro 5.0 for year 2000 compliance. Re-
wrote Common Practice, a Legal Time and Billing System for several client
law firms. Re-wrote Transaction Tracking, an Investment Tracking
Application for a client in the investment industry. System analysis,
design and implementation. Full project life cycle. Responsibilities
included data conversion of all existing data and client training and
support. Audited all classes available thru CALC for Microsoft Frontpage
98 and Internet Development.
January 1993 to June 1997 - Best!Ware, Inc., Rockaway, New Jersey
Software Developer. Worked as part of a development team responsible for
creating M.Y.O.B., Mind Your Own Business, an international accounting
package for small business users that runs on both Windows and Mac
platforms. Developed product features using cross-platform compatible code
in Microsoft Visual C++ 4.0 on Windows and CodeWarrior on the Mac.
Developed the M.Y.O.B. Windows Install program using Installshield.
Developed on-line customer software patches downloadable from our web site
using RT Patch. Created various C/C++ utility programs for the main
product. C to C++ conversions. .EXE to .DLL conversions. Fixed
corrupted customer data files and taught technical support software
training.
September 1989 to December 1992 - Consultant, Rockaway, New Jersey
Computer Consulting. Developed payroll and job tracking applications using
DBASE in an MS-DOS environment for small family owned business. All
hardware and software installations and training.
August 1982 to August 1989 - MCI Communications Corp., New York, New York
Software Engineer. Worked with a team of engineers to develop PC
communications applications for Windows. Used C in an MS-DOS environment
with a BTRIEVE back end. Developed assembly language protocols for E-mail,
Fax, and other services. Responsibilities included designing, coding,
testing, documenting and implementing features of the product. Installed
customer software on-site and provided software training. Started as a
programmer in Record Services. Responsibilities were designing, coding,
testing, documenting and implementing on-line software for MCI's Telex
computer systems. Trouble-shot, debugged, and monitored Telex systems.
Used DEC assembler and NAP assembler on DEC PDP 11/44 processors and North
American Phillips mainframes.
