Deployed to New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief. Provided civil
stability operations while government functions were reestablished.
Personal staff to Commanding General responsible for investigating all
matters assigned by the Commanding General and making recommendations
regarding what course of action the command should follow. Security
Integration Officer of the Security Directorate for JASG-C, Baghdad
Iraq. Conduct Force Protection assessments of key Coalition and Iraqi
facilities within the IZ as needed. Co-Managed the Baghdad Embassy
Security Force of nearly 1800 guards and an annual budget of over
$70,000,000.00. Liaisoned with the Iraqi Council of Representatives
Security Personnel to enhance safety and security. Prepared
statements of work for future security forces in anticipation of
security needs in a fluid political environment. Provided immediate
conflict resolution for security operations to include protection of
Distinguished Visitors; Vice-President Chaney, Secretary of Defense
Gates, Secretary of State Rice, Senator McCain, Angelina Jolie and
others.
