Designed and built engineering fixtures and test equipment for Cisco
Systems, Hewlett Packard, Infinera, Brocade Communications, Lockheed
Martin, TRW/Hughes.
Created BOM's for new R&D projects, budgeted for tools and test equipment,
generated ECO's, prepared reports for energy loss analysis and delivered
verbal presentations to client staff.
Designed PC board layout with serial communications in an R&D environment.
Tested circuits and logged data to confirm proper design rules. Made parts
list for qualification and purchased parts for the design. Designed and
tested electrical systems for the control of industrial heating ovens.

cost analysis, return on investment, minimizing cost per assembly to end of
life of product vs. purchased equipment or build in house options. Sold
test equipment such as Digital Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Strip Chart
recorders, CPU emulators, Hardware disassemblers, waveform analyzers to
test engineering and hardware engineering labs..

instruments: Digital Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, CPU emulators,
Hardware disassemblers waveform analyzers to test engineering and hardware
engineering labs.
1979 to 1981 Advanced Micro Devices
Test manager, wrote test and workflow procedures. Collected data on
pass/fail testing of CPU assemblies and wrote monthly reports for
engineering and test engineering departments including but limited to
number of assemblies tested, failure rates per assemblies and component
failure rates with date codes and batch numbers. Prepared graphical charts
with detail analysis of each area of interest and delivered verbal
presentations to engineering and test engineering manager and staff.
Prepared budgeting reports and delivered verbal presentations to VP level
for the coming year of purchase of capital test equipment, small tools,
expendable chemicals, training and education for technicians/staff.
Responsible for meeting production schedule of microprocessor based CPU
boards. Responsible for 15 technicians and 6 support staff.

Re- wrote test programs to improve production thru put and increase
