EXAMPLES OF KEY SUCCESSES
LED a company wide Process Improvement project which decreased overall home
production time as well as led one less headcount in procurement as well as
the combination of the Accounting and Information Technology departments of
Newmark and Trophy Homes, a $300MM a year division of TOUSA, Inc.
Established key performance indicators as part of a successful process
improvement initiative. RESULT: Cut new home start times by two weeks and
reduced costs by approximately $250,000 a year, $150,000 in staffing costs
and $100,000 in interest costs.
LED the systems implementation team and automated invoicing project for the
Fluor Daniel TXU project. RESULT: Cut three weeks off Billing and
Collections resulted in significant cost savings. The initiative also
increased the quality, timeliness and management confidence of the
financial data and cut annual costs by approximately $200,000.
STREAMLINED and significantly improved the accuracy of the month end job
cost accrual process of Newmark Homes. RESULT: Lowered the job cost closing
variance from 1.24% of Revenues in 2004 to .13% of Revenues in 2005. This
accuracy continued through 2009 resulting in approximate savings of
$100,000 a year.

Responsible for Financial and Management reporting for the USLAC region of
Worley Parsons while the Sr. Manager was on an assignment. Managed a staff
of five while transitioning to an Oracle platform. Responsible for running
financial and management reports as well as creating billings and Web ADI
journals in Oracle. This role also worked extensively with Hyperion
Planning and handled some HFM reporting.
