Quality Assurance Analyst

TUI is the world's largest holiday company, taking more than 30 million

people away on holiday. It's made up of some of Europe's biggest travel

brands. BRAC - Booking Recall Amend and Cancellation is a call centre

application which enables retrieving the booking records and making the

amendments in the same application. Amendments like add/delete/amend

passengers, amending the holiday package/Flight/Accommodation, amending the

booking dates etc. The Amendments vary according to different types of

bookings and different types of packages.

Responsibilities:

. Provide assistance and guidance to test team, regarding

testing processes and procedures

. Responsible for the coordination and planning of testing

efforts.

. Participated in requirement walkthroughs and review

meetings as the QA representative and provided feedbacks to

the team members

Iscape is a portal platform which has been used to integrate Flight-only,

Accommodation-only and Holiday packages applications on one web portal.

Selecting an option 'Flight-only' or 'Accommodation-only' or 'Holiday

Bookings' navigates to the respective search page. It has been developed to

make ease of accessing all the different Thomson applications on one web

portal. Holiday packages had been classified to different types and thus

the booking flow too had been modified according the type of package being

booked.

Dynamic packaging is a web application that provides an easy way to book

the flights, Hotels and Holidays online. This application sells the flight

tickets and accommodations mainly and also include third party flights like

Open skies and Amadeus. Once the Thomson packages are sold or not available

then the Thomson accommodations are combined with third party flights to

make holiday packages that do not include any extras, which are included

with the Tracs packages.

priority is to sell Thomson units. During the shortage of Thomson units

should fetch for the third party units and display them with the Thomson

units in both the AO and FO applications.
