Senior Project Manager/ Project Director of Construction

Electrical Engineering

I am seeking a challenging and responsible position with a growth-oriented

company offering the opportunity to effectively utilize prior experience,

expertise and abilities as a Senior Project Manager or Director of

Construction.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:

Management Experience:

As Senior Project Manager and Director of Construction I

directed and coordinated the construction project

management activities associated with the redevelopment and

improvement of the company's, theme park, facilities,

housing and expansion projects for the entire project.

Acted as Owner's Construction Project Manager on

Redevelopment and Capital Improvement Projects.

Developed scopes of work, prepared budgets, solicits bids

and proposals from qualified contractors.

Managed all construction activities following project

approvals and coordinates work with Management Team and

Owners to include phasing, staging and site logistics

Directed assigned construction activities, reviews and

approves payment applications for owner and investors.

Directed and coordinated permitting requirements,

inspected and signed off on the contract work.

Ensured compliance with company brands, policies and

procedures

Ensured that areas under redevelopment and construction are

safe and orderly with minimal disruption to areas.

Set up and Maintained budgets and schedule compliance

throughout the project

Reviewed and analyzed the bids and awards contracts

Ensured budgets and schedules compliance on all work

Coordinates work activities with property staff so as to

minimize disruption to the occupancy.

Managed the repair work associated with casualty events,

fire/storm damage etc

Conducted periodic site visit and surveys of the project to

identify needs and prepares project estimates and budgets

for the project.

Ensured that the owners programs support the

organization's strategic objectives.

Lead and directed the work of others.

Completed various standardized monthly reports and updates

standard company reports

Directed and coordinated activities of designers and

consultants as necessary

Performed final inspections and prepares punch lists,

closed out of the project. Maintained electronic and hard

copies of projects files.

Engineering and Design Experience:

Over Twenty-five years experience as an Electrical Project Engineer

performing electrical, lighting, fire alarm and

communications system design and project management for

renovations and new construction projects in facilities

nationwide. Have extensive experience in project design for

theme parks, resorts, non-profit, restaurants, plants,

hotels, timeshares, health care, institutional, industrial,

commercial, FDOT, residential, municipal facilities and

residential construction.
