Objective To find a company to use my 31 years of warehouse, customer service

international logistics experience. I am not only a team player, I am a

team leader and self starter. I take pride in a professional appearance,

attendance and attitude.

Education 1978 Jonesboro Senior High Jonesboro, Ga .

High school diploma

Graduated with honors and with a grade point average 3.87. I received

scholastic honors in drafting / mechanical drawing. I also studied power

transportation for 2 years vocational class.

Bureau of Dangerous Goods, 1985 to present. Dangerous Goods

Certified. You have to be recertified very year.

Professional 1978 - 1981 Lawson Products Atlanta, Ga.

Experience Lead Warehouse Agent I started as a warehouse dockhand. By

working with the management team in 1980 I was the supervisor’s lead

warehouse agent. I could work any job in the warehouse: receive in the

trucks, package the products, stock the shelves, pull orders, print orders

package out-going orders, and co-ordinate order pick-up by common

carriers. When ever the supervisor was out or on vacation, I would

supervise the daily warehouse operations.

1981 - Present BAX Global / DB Schenker Atlanta, Ga.

Lead Export Ops & Customer Service Agent I started as a warehouse

dockhand, worked in the domestic operations and later export operations. I was

the lead agent in both departments. In the export dept. I ran the second shift,

overseeing two other personnel, while reporting to the supervisor on the day shift. I

worked the second shift for eleven years. I handled OS&D /

claims; while in the Domestic department I have worked

with the customers and handle international freight transit solutions. I also have

experience with Dept of State License shipments for AAR, Selex and other military

equipment suppliers. I worked in the Import / Break-

bulk department for several years, helping to train the new hires on the

Import/Break-bulk computer system, working the break down of the import

consolidations and MAWB docs. I have also

worked when we had the start up of the S E H truck hub on the dock / warehouse

and office on weekends.
