RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

The paragraphs below discuss the diversity of projects under his

leadership.

US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) - lead his firm (a

subconsultant to a "small business") in planning, producing, editing and

coordinating the "Army Space Planning and Criteria Manual" (ASPCM) 2010

Edition. This 30-month effort resulted in a desk reference of 2,400 pages

covering: Reporting, Criteria, Planning, Programmable Increments, Land Use

& Site Planning Considerations, and Other Considerations, for each of the

950+ Army Facility Category Codes.

Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) Mr. Branden lead teams of land

planners, facility inspectors, retail shopping designers and engineers.

His innovative master planning process included holding charrettes that

included every organization affected by the AAFES decisions. These

assignments, across the US, in England and Germany, included dealing with

landlords, other tenants in the shopping centers, code officials,

regulators and other officials. The key to success came at the end of the

charrette process, when Mr. Branden, asked everyone to identify any of the

proposed 10 - 15 scenarios that their organization "could not live with if

AAFES decided to do this one?" That always narrowed the choices to 2 - 4

acceptable alternatives for further analysis.

Trammell Crow Company Mr. Branden was project architect for a number of

shopping centers, office / warehouse and other projects in central Florida,

with Trammell Crow as the owner / developer / property management client of

the small architectural firm with which he worked at the time.
