People’s Television, New York City (NY) 3 months in 2008
Outreach Coordinator
Personally contacted the Director/Producer of the 90 minute film “La Americana” to promote it to
key decision makers in the non profit sector and members of the general public. This film –
spotlighting immigration laws and equal rights – concentrated on one family’s experience in
migrating from Bolivia, thereby shedding light on their situation in wanting to carve out a better life
in the U.S.
PTV (Purchase College Television), Purchase (NY) 8 months during 2007 & 2008
Live Show Technician
Selected from a group of highly qualified candidates to set up the studio (including microphones,
cameras, and audio equipment) to help air live TV programs aimed at this culturally driven academic
community made up of 4,000 students and 300 faculty members.
• Took the initiative to assist a 5 person team in creating memorable and eye catching promotional
pieces to entice restaurant goers and fellow students to tune into Campus’s eclectic program
offerings
• Chosen by Head of Programming to set up and promote School’s first ever award show
recognizing student film submissions; due to this show’s success, asked by Head of Programming
to participate the following semester
