Assertion Markup Language (SAML) single sign-on solutions and 3rd level
support for authentication services, PIN maintenance and single sign-on
functions. Planned and managed multiple annual and ongoing budgets ($3+
Million) including capital, maintenance and development projects.
. Improved time to market and reduced ongoing development costs by
delivering a reusable/configuration driven SAML single sign-on
infrastructure.
. Enhanced client experience and built trust with business partners by
delivering several on-time and on-budget SAML 1.1 and SAML 2.0 single
sign-on projects.
. Improved the security of production digital certificates and keys by
creating a certificate and key management process which defined roles and
responsibilities across multiple organizations, while auditing and
restricting access to the certificates/keys on an "as needed" basis.
. Reduced long-term risk to the website, and improved productivity and
quality by directing the more strategic effort to automate the manual
process for regenerating authentication digital keys.
. Removed a single point of failure, created a sustainable cross-training
environment and improved team productivity by building a production
support on-call team, which also improved the career development of
engineering staff.
. Improved the team's responsiveness to production issues and developed a
comprehensive reporting mechanism as a result of formalizing production
support roles and responsibilities.
. Ensured compliance with vendor and enterprise platform versions by
migrating authentication servers from WebSphere 5 to WebSphere 6.
. Eliminated the need for one full-time administrator by streamlining
project tracking and reporting with the added benefit of providing the
team with an additional project management resource while improving the
career development of that individual.
