WORK EXPERIENCE

Program Manager 2010-2010 Northeast FL Community Action Agency

Jacksonville, FL

Supervised approximately 250 individuals; systematically collected

tracked and reported agency results based upon performance,

planning and execution of goals identified by the Agencies

Strategic Plan. Coordinating the day to day operation of

student and youth programs to assure maximum community

benefit for funds expended. Reviewed progress and

performance by program staff by monitoring program

performance results to ensure compliance with program

guidelines and agency established policies and Strategic

Plan. Ensured grant compliance, program development, staff

development and training to achieve the results delineated

in the National Roma Goals 1-6; monitored program budget of

over 280,000.00. This was a grant funded position.

Administration Career 2009-2010 St. Johns County School Board

St. Augustine, FL

Counselor

Responsible for program eligibility determination,

enrollment and coordinated dissemination of program

information; Interviewed students to gather information to

assess service needs, assess academic skills and interpret

student's test scores. Provided advisement on program

services, developed, implemented, conducted and monitored

training programs; taught courses regarding employability

skills, career planning, and interviewing techniques and

resume preparation. Tracked and promoted retention in job

and training placement area needs. This position entailed

the management of approximately 35 students. Counseling was

also provided along with assisting the students in reaching

their educational goals and objectives. This was a grant

funded position.

Family Service Counselor 2007-2009 PSI Family Services (DCF)

Jacksonville, FL

Intake Coordinator

Assist families with services whose children have been detained

from the Department of Children and Families due to abuse,

neglect or threatened harm. Provide children with services

for educational, emotional and behavioral needs. Other

responsibilities include: Conducting interviews, completing

risk assessments every three months. Quality Assurance,

OTI/ICPC liaison, Foster Parent Liaison, Run Away Liaison,

Unit Mentor/Lead Worker, Special Talents Committee Member

for Family Support Services, Drug Court Liaison. ADS point

person and Independent Living Liaison. Served a second full

time position as the Intake Coordinator for the entire

staff and was one of the key people in developing the TCM

program for the Jacksonville location along with assisting

in the CARF Accreditation process. Served as committee

chair for the Morale Committee, a mentor for new hires and

I held a seat on the PSI Advisory Board.
