Accomplishments:

* Developed an accurate check-in and reporting system that eliminated errors and

discrepancies.

* Resolved invoice disputes between A/P (company) and A/R (vendor). That allowed A/P

to free up two positions involved in researching receiving issues.

* Researched all over/short/damaged issues with trucking companies and informed them

of the correct resolution. (This allowed the company to always recoup any losses, and

resulted in many expressions of gratitude from trucking companies and other consignees).

* Increased unloading productivity for 40 ft. trailers and containers. Drivers would

express that it took my crew 1/4 to 1/3 the time spent for the same load at other stops.

* Ran a regular receiving crew of 10 to 15 augmented with temporaries depending on

time of year.

* Also ran a softgoods crew which ticketed, picked, and packed clothing.

* Communicated with several hundred different vendors regarding mis-shipments,

duplicate shipments, and returns resulting in complete mutual satisfaction.

* Supervised the shipping of returns.

* Worked with programmers to create company's first computer entry method for

received quantities on AS400/JDA system and supervised that entry.

* Reliable - During 22 year / 17 year concurrent jobs + 8 year job - ZERO days sick or

absent
