Joel B. Lipschultz, MBA
Warminster, PA 18974
I have a multi-business and extensive background. This enables me to
draw from a variety of solutions to resolve specific issues. This broad
perspective enables me to guide a company in becoming more profitable and
efficient; which has been my focus throughout my career.
Some notable accomplishments are:
1. By learning 5 ERP systems in a short amount of time and discovering
software capabilities, I provided comprehensive reports with
recommendations.
2. I took an 8-day month-end close process and reduced it to 1 day and
increased the quality and depth of the information for analysis.
3. With discussions with production and test managers, profits were
increased as a result of corrective measures.
4. I took the payroll operation from a several day process to a half-a-
day activity. Further, this process also
allowed us to measure labor efficiency in all cost centers and
track costs on R & D projects and time and
material contracts.
5. I taught employees how to use Excel and the ERP system to simplify
their jobs.
6. By using several methods I simplified the annual plant budgeting
process that also captured cost deviations and errors in BOMs, as well
as, assisting in future cash and staffing requirements.
7. Convincing management to use activity ratios showed there were areas
in the business where improvements were necessary. This lead to
process streamlining and manufacturing cost savings.
8. Simplified foreign and domestic credit sales and letters of credit.
I learn quickly and apply seemingly unrelated experiences to current
situations to affect positive outcomes. Although my resume is a good
overview of my background, an interview could reveal other skills that
could be utilized in assisting your company achieve its goals. To set up a
