Personal I left Michigan to follow family to Seattle, Washington. I

Summary obtained a position of Senior Underwriter with a brokerage firm,

National Specialty Underwriters, in which I underwrote Hospitality

lines of business for an Exclusive Primary Liability Hotel

Program. During my carrier with Zurich, which began in 1988, I

have held the positions of Regional Underwriting Coordinator,

Underwriting Manager and Regional Underwriting Manager. The

multitude of experience that these different positions have given

me is very broad.

Example of this experience would be training of employees in

varying positions including Account Executives,

Raters/Coders/Processors, Underwriting Coordinators, and Customer

Service Representatives from things on how to read and interpret

company rating programs, manual rating, rate development, data

entry, to understanding the company's AR system, interaction at

multiple levels with the claims side of the house. I understand

rating and compliance requirements, commercial lines manual,

company goals and standards.

One of my strengths is the ability to analyze a process,

understand what the end result need is, determine a way to achieve

this result in the most efficient way possible while maintaining

the discipline of following the core processes that have been

identified by the company.
