- 14 years of IT experience, starting as a computer technician on a
24 hour helpdesk, advancing to a Windows systems administrator, moved
to UNIX systems administrator and promoted to supervisor.
- UNIX systems administrator (5 years) providing system planning,
consultation, hardware/software installations/upgrades and technical
support for 56 AIX servers configured on standalone and Logically
Partitioned IBMPower4 - 6 servers.
> Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) administrator supporting 372
clients connecting to 2 TSM enterprise backup servers,
maintaining 295TB of law enforcement data stored on a Virtual
Tape Library and 3494 Tape Library.

Key Projects and Accomplishments
. Server Consolidation - consolidated 25 standalone AIX
Servers onto 9 P5/P6 servers utilizing IBM Virtual
Technology PowerVM, consolidated 38 standalone Window
Servers running on 2 VMWare farms, saving power, license
and maintenance cost and floor space. Currently
consolidating remote locations with multiple servers into a
single ESX Server at each site.
. METERS Project - completed and currently supporting a 24 x
7 mission critical law enforcement application supplying
34,000 users data from FBI, NLETS, MILES, MVA and Arrest
Warrants utilizing local, VPN and Mobile Data Terminal
network connections.
. MAFIS Project - completed and currently supporting a 24 x 7
mission critical fingerprint identification system
supplying positive identification for offenders awaiting
legal processing and public/private businesses awaiting
positive ID to a potential hire.
. VPN RSA Adaptive Authentication Project - currently
coordinating 260 law enforcement sites with 10,000 users
authenticating using a new web based no token VPN system
saving department cost to replace physical tokens.
. Disaster Recover Site Project - Currently working on
replicating our mission critical applications to our
designated DR site using replication SAN technology.
