I owned and operated this store with the help of two workers. My duties
involved inventory control, ordering merchandise,
advertising, payroll and customer
service. During this time i also opened a second store and a warehouse
where we wholesaled and retailed electronics.

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR
This company manufactured and sold the undergarments a bride wears under
her
gown. The plant for manufacturing was in Puerto Rico. The warehouse in
Linden, NJ
was the only warehouse for this company. After leaving Toyota I found this
entry level
position at this company. Picking and packing orders. I later helped an
associate who
did all the computer operations for the company. Excelling at that position
I later took
his job. Wanting to learn more about the operations of the company, I began
helping other
people out in every department of the warehouse including management. In
less than a
year i was made a supervisor. After a while the companies money problems
became too
much. The company was bought out by a group of investors. They wanted to
clean house.
Leaving the workers but letting go all management. The skills i used on a
daily basis were
computer skills, ordering, supervising and problem solving skills.
TOYOTA DISTRIBUTION

WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
This was the main distribution center for the northern east coast for
toyota and lexus.
The job consisted of picking and packing orders to be delivered to various
dealerships.
In the beginning i worked on foot, later by forklift. Once experienced i
became a checker
for the orders. Later learning how to batch orders on the computer. Once
a month they
had 4-6 people teams that worked on different areas of the warehouse that
needed
improvement. I would always volunteer to be on the teams. My skills
consisted of
productivity improvement,forklift,computer and all aspects of the
warehouse from top to
bottom.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER
I began substituting at various schools in roselle until a math teacher
retired at the high
school. I took over his classes teaching students Geometry, General Math,
Algebra, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. I also tutored students in all of these
subjects and prepared them for the S.A.T.'s and the H.S.P.T. 's.
