Employment History
Wilden Pump August 1992- August 2007

I started as a part time student worker in the Shipping Pumps
department. For four years my duties included boxing pumps, labeling,
scanning and stocking.
Once I became a full time employee I moved over to the Shipping Parts
department. I stayed in this department for seven years. In 1998 I was
promoted to a Shipping Assistant Lead. My responsibilities included pulling
and packing parts, processing daily paperwork, data entry, and working
directly with the vendors, such as Fed Ex and UPS. I also worked closely
with the customers and made sure all shipments were safely and properly
sent. I also attended daily meetings that focused on daily, weekly, and
monthly company numbers and productivity. I orientated new employees and
through this responsibility I was able to train deaf employees. I learned
American Sign Language as a result and was able to interpret for them.
I was then promoted to a Receiving/Material Handler and the
responsibilities included loading and unloading product, staging freight,
and stocking incoming products for all departments. I also had a hand in
loading and recycling old scrap metal as well as doing inventory for all in-
house products for all departments.
I also worked in the machine shop for a year. This position entailed
cleaning rough parts, sanding, and prepared these parts for pump line.
