Senior Planner and Scheduler Engineer with more than 20 years of experience
in Planning, Scheduling and Controlling different types of EPC projects:

The Ras Tanura Integrated Project combines a number of refining and
Petrochemical Units into an integrated complex on a green-field site near
Ras Tanura in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project will require all the
offsite and infrastructure facilities to support the operation of a self-
sufficient site.
Activities working on the FEED stage:

Project Control Leader Engineer (Sept. 85 to Sept. 87)
Assigned for the Project NURGAS (New Venezuelan 30" diameter Gas Pipeline
Network of about 800 Km) inside the Client's Project Management
headquarters (PDVSA). It was used the project planning and control system
Artemis Main Frame. That planning was performed together with an integrated
cost control system.
Activities:
* Integral scheduling of the project starting with the engineering, taking
on account the
permits process, land owners, procurement of equipment and materials,
through the construction and start up.
* Responsibility in the planning and progress control of the engineering of
the whole
project.
* Inspection, as part of CORPOVEN project control team, of the detail
engineering
progress, assigned man - hours control, progress control of drawing
production, specifications, materials take off and construction quantities
production.
Projects:
* Inspection responsibility of the planning and progress control of detail
engineering
development for the First Section of the Anaco - Altagracia Gas Pipeline,
being performed at the headquarter of the engineering company OTEPI.
* Responsibility in the inspection for the planning and progress control of
detail
engineering development of the Third Section of the Mor n - R o Seco Gas
Pipeline, being performed at the headquarters of the engineering company
TECNOCONSULT S.A.
Accomplishments:
The NURGAS project was finished within the cost, time and quality required
for the Client. Today it is considered the most important gas pipeline
project in Venezuela.
Project Control Leader Engineer, Maracaibo Lake Compression Plants Project
(Apr. 84 to Sept.85)
Performed several activities dealing with scheduling / controlling
engineering and construction projects, EPC scheduling and support to the
project management.
The job was performed using the Artemis Main Frame and PC System facilities
for project planning and control. A CPM network of every project was
elaborated on the areas of engineering, construction biding, purchasing and
the construction itself. Working at fabrication site during the first stage
of construction.
Activities:
* Planning and progress control of the Engineering Project for six (6)
modular
prefabricated gas compression plants to be installed on platforms at
Maracaibo Lake, 1984
* Construction progress control of the above mentioned project during 8
months, 1984 -
1985.
* Client: LAGOVEN/MARAVEN (now PDVSA), main contractor: BECHTEL,
engineering and management: MARSHALL/CARCO
Accomplishments:
First experience in MARSHALL with modular prefabricated plants. The project
was completed successfully and the compression plants were delivered to the
job site at the calculated date.

Project Control Engineer
Performed engineering project control activities, using a PERT - CPM, bar
diagrams and man - hours control systems, drawings and specifications
production control, progress reports preparation, coordination of the
production and supporting to Project Management.

Engineering of Jose
Cryogenic Project located eastern Venezuela, client: MENEVEN (now PDVSA),
main contractor: Brown & Root (now KBR).
* Scheduling of a project for moving the Venezuelan Army Food Service
Facilities to a
new place.
* Design of a general use project control system for the company's
projects.
Accomplishments:
Completed the biggest NGL Marine Terminal in Venezuela, the project
consisted in the development of civil, mechanical, electrical and
instrumentation engineering, of a loading dock with a 40 x 50 m platform
and a 1.913,00 m access trestle. The scope included technical supervision
of construction, was concluded on time and within the budget.
