WORK EXPERIENCE

Chrysler, Belvidere, I L 1988- 2009

material f low so production was not interrupted.

2008-2009 Team Leader- Supported six team members in their production processes.

T roubleshoot for improvement in product and process quality. Keep charts and boards that

t racked safety, quality, delivery, cost and morale. Give presentations to Plant Manager, Area

M anagers, Union Officials and supporting personnel on a monthly basis to prove out any

SQDCM concerns that were on our team board.

2006-2008 Test Track Driver/ Inspector- Drive new vehicles off the line and onto a test t rack to

assess operating or quality issues. Report any deviations to manager for repair. Perform all

t asks within the framework of the 5 metrics of SQDCM.

1998-2006 Communications Team Leader, Chrysler Belvidere, I L- Support the team responsible

for Local Communications at our plant. Write and edit the monthly newsletter with a focus on:

i ndustry t rends and metrics, safety initiatives, production process improvement success stories,

p rogram roll-out coupled with effectiveness measurement tools, and impactful delivery of local

and corporate industry information to cross level employees. Write, edit and produce the content

of our weekly news program for our in-plant TV system. Analyze data to realize the effectiveness

of our internal communications programming.

1994-1998 Assembler- Attach door latches with air tools. Monitor the safety and quality of the

p rocess.

1988-1994 Part-time Assembler- Fill in for absent employees on Mondays and Fridays. In this

position, I was required to move to any area of the plant and very quickly become proficient on a

w ide variety of operations.
