Currently working on the implementation and application support
initiatives on the Financial Aid module of University of Puerto Rico's
implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite.
Day-to-day responsibilities include: determining the cause of problems
encountered by the end-users, designing and implementing customizations to
standard Oracle functionality in order to meet the end-users'
requirements, leading knowledge-transfer sessions, and interacting with
Oracle's support staff in order to keep track of reported system bugs.
Worked on a number of technical aspects of the financials module
conversion for six campuses, which consisted of converting legacy data in
order to make it compatible with Oracle's system using custom data
transformations and a number of Oracle APIs.

Was in charge of developing new features, enhancements, and customizations
to Popular Inc's SAP Enterprise Portal architecture; which is used by
employees throughout the whole corporation to access and manage personnel
information. Quickly became the lead developer for all portal applications
development projects using the Netweaver's Java platform.
Developed a variety of enhancements and customizations, using SAP's ABAP
language, to several SAP HR modules, including: Payroll, Time Management,
and Employee Benefits.

Web Developer
Developed an application for managing citizen records with the Department
of Citizen Affairs at Mayag ez, allowing the optimization of the
processing of citizen claims, and also resulting in considerable reduction
of the amount of paperwork and time required to service a citizen.
Contributed to the development of a web-based application for the Finances
Department at Mayag ez intended to allow customers the ability to pay
their bills through a web interface.
Both applications were originally developed using Java Servlets, JSP and
the JavaServer Faces Framework.
Side Projects Participated in the Enterprize Business Idea competition in 2007, and won
the First Prize.
